The 2009 - 2010 Grant Cycle Recipients have Been Announced. CLICK HERE The Anderson Children's Foundation was established by Irene Anderson in 1970 in memory of her late husband Guy Anderson. Based on her life long love of children and a passion to further their causes and meet their needs she established Anderson Children's Foundation. The primary purpose of the Foundation is to create and support programs that provide for the unmet needs of children of every race, creed and culture. Through a competitive grant funding process these needs are met. Guy L. Anderson. Anderson Children's Foundation holds 501(c)(3) non-profit status, all contributions are tax deduct able. Grant recipients will generally receive funds in two disbursements, depending on program needs. The first disbursement will be as near the beginning of the funding cycle as deemed necessary and the second disbursement will be after a successful mid-year site evaluation. In addition to the mid-year evaluation there will be a required year-end written evaluation for each project funded HOW TO APPLY: It is the intention of the Anderson Children's Foundation to make similar grant moneys available on an annual basis. Through annual review and re-application, projects may be considered beyond first year funding.
