Year 2005 - 2006 Grant Recipients

The Irene W. and Guy L Anderson Children's Foundation made grant money available to non-profit groups and organizations in the Coachella Valley whose purpose is meeting the unmet needs of the youth of the Coachella Valley.

Grant applications for the 2005 - 2006 grant cycle were reviewed and chosen by a 7 member non-partisan committee representing, as best as possible, the geographic areas and ethnic diversities of the Coachella Valley. Project originality and diversity is considered for a maximum of $30,000.00 and grants for lesser amounts. Emphasis is placed on programming which focuses on the unmet needs of Coachella youths.

There were a total of 89 applicants requesting Grants from the Anderson Children’s Foundation this year. A total amount of  funding requested through the process was $1,967,235.71. Out of these, 29 were selected totaling $575,000.00 to be distributed.
